Ian McRobbie BCO, BADO
Ian McRobbie is a Board Certified Ocularist who entered the field of ocularistry in 1988 and received his certification from the American Society of Ocularists in 1993. He has provided quality artificial eyes in northern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan since that time. He has served as an associate editor and a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Ophthalmic Prosthetics, as well as contributing articles to the Journal of the American Society of Ocularists. He has also co-authored a chapter of the book Advances in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
James Willis BCO, BADO, FASO
Jim Willis is a Board Certified Ocularist and has worked in the field of ocular prosthetics since 1976. He has lectured to numerous medical and educational groups in both Canada and the United States. He has authored several papers, which have been published in the Journal of the American Society of Ocularists and Journal of Ophthalmic Prosthetics, and he has co-authored a chapter in the text book Advances in Ophthalmic and Reconstructive Surgery. James has served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Ophthalmic Prosthetics since 1988 and he also served for a number of years as the senior editor of the Journal of Ophthalmic Prosthetics.
Mason Wilson, Ocularist
The newest member of the team, Mason Wilson, brings a keen artistic eye to LeGrand Northwest Ocularists. He graduated from the Visual Communication Design program at Grant Macewan in 2007, and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for over 7 years. Mason joined LeGrand Northwest Ocularists in 2014, where he combines his passion for art and science, and has been making quality prosthetic eyes ever since.
